MGS Precision Awarded Gold Supplier Status with Leonardo Helicopters – (Augusta Westland)
MGS Precision has been officially awarded the Gold supplier award in a ceremony at the Leonardo Helicopter (Augusta Westlands) build facility in Yeovil on Tuesday 19th September 2017.
The award recognises the quality, delivery and service performance of MGS over the past 3 years and enables all MGS products to be shipped directly to line. MGS joins a select band of 18 suppliers to Augusta Westland who have been awarded the prestigious gold standard.
In addition to the presentation, the staff from MGS Precision were given a detailed tour of the helicopter build facility and an afternoon in the training school with an opportunity to try one of the flight simulators.
During the day, Jerry Prideaux (Supply Chain Manager, Leonardo) complimented MGS on their excellent service record.
The photograph shows Tony Chowns, MGS Quality Manager, being presented with the award by Brian Ayre (Procurement and Supply Chain, Leonardo) on the (Model AW 101) helicopter build line together with other members of the MGS team.
